District Eight
TIMELESS FURNITURE, THOUGHTFULLY CURATED
Founded on a respect for craftsmanship and materiality, District Eight creates furniture defined by quiet strength and timeless form.
Working in close collaboration with world-renowned designers, the brand combines solid timber, metal, and hand-finished details to produce pieces rooted in modernist ideals while remaining deeply tactile and human.
Each design is thoughtfully made to endure, balancing longevity of quality with enduring aesthetic relevance.
BUOM
BUOM reinterprets a familiar armchair archetype with quiet sophistication. Designed by Jean-Marie Massaud for District Eight, the chair balances a sense of suspended lightness with a grounded, architectural presence.
The sculpted leather seat takes its form from buồm — the full sails of traditional Vietnamese boats — appearing to rest effortlessly against the angled legs. Crafted with precision, the seat seems almost to float, while the solid oak frame provides strength and stability beneath. Cross stretchers introduce a subtle visual tension, complementing the soft, undulating lines of the leather.
Both refined and robust, BUOM is a timeless piece designed to bring comfort, material richness, and enduring elegance to considered interiors.

BOw
Designed by Monica Förster, the Bow Dining Chair brings a sense of refined calm to the dining space. Its gently curved, upholstered seat and backrest appear to float above a finely crafted solid oak frame, creating an elegant silhouette that is both inviting and contemporary. The chair’s proportions and continuous lines evoke a quiet harmony when placed around a table, making Bow as comfortable in residential interiors as it is in thoughtful hospitality settings.

NOM
The Nom Dining Chair and Nom Dining Armchair are expressions of relaxed strength and considered proportion. Designed with a sculptural sensibility, these chairs pair a gently curved solid timber frame with a subtly upholstered seat that invites you to sit with ease. The backrest and armrest (in the armchair version) are shaped to echo the natural sweep of the body, striking a balance between support and effortless comfort.
With their refined yet uncomplicated form, Nom chairs bring a quietly confident presence to dining and living spaces alike.
