Drop Chandelier Bulp

Part of the Drop series, the Drop Chandelier Bulp pairs a hand-brushed plated aluminium frame with circular opal glass shades that give a soft, warm light. Its detailed suspension draws on industrial and maritime references, while 14 adjustable arms let you change the direction and arrangement of the light, so it works as both task lighting and a sculptural centrepiece. Rooted in 1950s modernist lamp design but taken in a more experimental direction, it suits dining rooms, living areas and entryways, and is offered in Mini, Regular and Grande sizes. 101 Copenhagen was founded in 2017 by Danish designers Kristian Sofus Hansen, Tommy Hyldahl and Nicolaj Nøddesbo. Drawing on backgrounds in design, fashion and time spent in Japan, the trio blend Scandinavian restraint with Japanese minimalism. The result is heritage-rooted design with a playful, contemporary edge.
