Guggenheim Vase

Guggenheim is a series of sculptural ceramic vases built on archetypal geometry, where merged forms, sharp lines and thin silhouettes combine into a decorative optical illusion. The texture of each handmade surface catches and refracts the light differently depending on the angle it's viewed from, turning the vase into an artistic object in its own right. The Guggenheim series is handmade in ceramic and comes in three sizes. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl.

101 Copenhagen was founded in 2017 by Danish designers Kristian Sofus Hansen, Tommy Hyldahl and Nicolaj Nøddesbo. Drawing on backgrounds in design, fashion and time spent in Japan, the trio blend Scandinavian restraint with Japanese minimalism. The result is heritage-rooted design with a playful, contemporary edge.
