Ames Chair
The Ames Chair is designed by D8 Studio with a shape inspired by a spade, its upholstered seat and backrest built for comfort and a restrained sense of elegance. Inviting curves are set against angled, smoked oak legs for the brand's signature modern industrial finish, shown here with Arda Pearl on the back and Gema Pearl on the seat. It pairs naturally with the Faifo Dining Table for a coordinated, considered dining setting.
District Eight was founded in Ho Chi Minh City in 2010 by Darren Chew and Paul Norriss. The brand draws on Vietnam's layered history, French colonial, modernist and contemporary, pairing warm timber with steel. Every piece is handcrafted in the brand's own Ho Chi Minh City workshop.
