Big Foot Table

Big Foot is a family of fibre concrete furniture, spanning a bench, a coffee table and low and tall tables, defined by sculptural, cylinder-shaped legs inspired by Brutalist architecture and contemporary sculpture. This is the Big Foot Table Tall, a compact side table that looks heavy and monumental yet is light enough to move around easily, thanks to its fibre-reinforced concrete. It is hand-painted in a coffee-brown finish, so tone and texture vary subtly from piece to piece. Use it beside a sofa or lounge chair, or pair it with the Big Foot Table Low for a layered, multi-level setting. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl.

101 Copenhagen was founded in 2017 by Danish designers Kristian Sofus Hansen, Tommy Hyldahl and Nicolaj Nøddesbo. Drawing on backgrounds in design, fashion and time spent in Japan, the trio blend Scandinavian restraint with Japanese minimalism. The result is heritage-rooted design with a playful, contemporary edge.
