Brutus Dining Chair with Cushion

The Brutus Dining Chair paired with its taupe seat cushion, for sculptural seating with a softer, more comfortable sit. Inspired by the Brutalist architecture movement of the mid-20th century, the chair is cast in lightweight fibre concrete and hand-painted in Bone White, balancing sharp architectural lines with a gentle curve through the back and armrests. The cushion is made in a linen-look Sunproof fabric that is water-repellent and UV-resistant, adding a warm, quiet counterpoint to the chair's textured surface around the dining table.

101 Copenhagen was founded in 2017 by Danish designers Kristian Sofus Hansen, Tommy Hyldahl and Nicolaj Nøddesbo. Drawing on backgrounds in design, fashion and time spent in Japan, the trio blend Scandinavian restraint with Japanese minimalism. The result is heritage-rooted design with a playful, contemporary edge.
