Brutus Lounge Cushion

This taupe cushion is designed for the Brutus Lounge Chair, part of the wider Brutus collection inspired by the Brutalist architecture movement of the mid-20th century. The collection — spanning a dining chair, lounge chair, coffee table and stool — is cast in lightweight fibre concrete, giving each piece a distinctive textured surface with improved portability. This cushion adds comfort and softness to the collection's sculptural, architectural seating, offering a softer taupe counterpoint to the raw, concrete-like finish of the chair beneath it.

101 Copenhagen was founded in 2017 by Danish designers Kristian Sofus Hansen, Tommy Hyldahl and Nicolaj Nøddesbo. Drawing on backgrounds in design, fashion and time spent in Japan, the trio blend Scandinavian restraint with Japanese minimalism. The result is heritage-rooted design with a playful, contemporary edge.
