The Cape Town Lounge Chair is hand-crafted from old growth, plantation-sourced rattan, woven into an English classic silhouette and finished by hand in either Mud Grey or Coffee Bean. Ethically sourced, manufactured and delivered, it brings a relaxed, textural presence to a living room or reading corner without sacrificing the comfort of a fully upholstered seat. As with the rest of the Wisteria rattan collection, slight colour and grain variation between batches is normal, a natural result of working with a handwoven, plantation-grown material rather than a flaw.

Wisteria Design is a Queensland furniture house founded by Chris Sayers, who grew up in his family's furniture business. Inspired by the world's best hotels, the collection draws on craftsmanship from Denmark, India, Vietnam, the Philippines and beyond, working in rattan, bamboo and fine timbers built to last generations.
