Clam Table Lamp

The Clam Table Lamp balances simplicity and the artistry of light through two gracefully opposing shades that orchestrate both direct and indirect illumination. Inspired by the serene aesthetics of Japanese design, light reflects softly off delicately curved metal screens for a warm, tranquil glow. Suited to a bedside table or desk, it offers functional light for reading as well as a softer, ambient mood. The body is crafted in raw oxidized aluminium, hand-brushed for an artisanal finish.

101 Copenhagen was founded in 2017 by Danish designers Kristian Sofus Hansen, Tommy Hyldahl and Nicolaj Nøddesbo. Drawing on backgrounds in design, fashion and time spent in Japan, the trio blend Scandinavian restraint with Japanese minimalism. The result is heritage-rooted design with a playful, contemporary edge.
