Cobra Table Lamp

A tribute to the Cobra Arts Movement of the 1960s, the Cobra Table Lamp brings a whimsical, sculptural presence to any room, its soft, organic form reminiscent of a human silhouette, epitomising the quirky, joyful character the wider Cobra collection is known for. True to the Cobra artists' process, the design began with naive hand sketches that evolved into this bodily shape. As the ceramic lamp base is hand-glazed, colour varies slightly from piece to piece. 101 Copenhagen was founded in 2017 by Danish designers Kristian Sofus Hansen, Tommy Hyldahl and Nicolaj Nøddesbo. Drawing on backgrounds in design, fashion and time spent in Japan, the trio blend Scandinavian restraint with Japanese minimalism. The result is heritage-rooted design with a playful, contemporary edge.
