Column Table

With its geometric, sharp-edged form, the Column Table draws on the classic architectural language of columns and pillars to create a simple, flexible side table. Its compact scale suits a range of interior settings — beside a lounge chair, grouped with other side tables near a sofa, or as a sculptural pedestal for displaying objects. Thanks to its minimalist design, it can also stand entirely on its own as a small sculpture. Made from fibre concrete, it is not frost-proof, so it is best kept indoors. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl.

101 Copenhagen was founded in 2017 by Danish designers Kristian Sofus Hansen, Tommy Hyldahl and Nicolaj Nøddesbo. Drawing on backgrounds in design, fashion and time spent in Japan, the trio blend Scandinavian restraint with Japanese minimalism. The result is heritage-rooted design with a playful, contemporary edge.
