Fat Kabin Vase

Part of the Kabin series, this handmade ceramic vase draws on classical Japanese craftsmanship, its oval body resting on a small foot for a refined, minimalist silhouette. It pairs the quiet stability of a traditional Japanese tea bowl with a pared-back Scandinavian sensibility. Finished by hand in a soft Bone White, each piece varies subtly in tone from vase to vase. Use it as a centrepiece on a dining table, sideboard or console, on its own or with a few dried stems. Designed by Nicolaj Nøddesbo & Tommy Hyldahl.

101 Copenhagen was founded in 2017 by Danish designers Kristian Sofus Hansen, Tommy Hyldahl and Nicolaj Nøddesbo. Drawing on backgrounds in design, fashion and time spent in Japan, the trio blend Scandinavian restraint with Japanese minimalism. The result is heritage-rooted design with a playful, contemporary edge.
