101 Copenhagen
Temple Coffee Table
Rich in architectural reference, the Temple Coffee Table echoes the layered facades of ancient structures with two staggered stone blocks stacked on top of each other. Carved by hand from sand-coloured limestone, the surface carries small natural holes and imperfections that celebrate the raw beauty of the stone alongside its polished, tactile finish. Offered in two sizes, it doubles as a coffee table, side table, or plinth for displaying objects. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl.
101 Copenhagen was founded in 2017 by Danish designers Kristian Sofus Hansen, Tommy Hyldahl and Nicolaj Nøddesbo. Drawing on backgrounds in design, fashion and time spent in Japan, the trio blend Scandinavian restraint with Japanese minimalism. The result is heritage-rooted design with a playful, contemporary edge.
