Tube Candle Holder

A series of ceramic lamellas, the Tube Candle Holder is all about repetition as a minimalist sculptural detail, inspired by 1970s sculptural artwork and design. Built from a single oval shape repeating into a continuous sculptural object, it comes in two sizes — one holding two candles, the other four — each designed to work as a standalone centrepiece or grouped for a bolder statement. As a hand-glazed natural product, colour can vary slightly from piece to piece. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl in 2022.

101 Copenhagen was founded in 2017 by Danish designers Kristian Sofus Hansen, Tommy Hyldahl and Nicolaj Nøddesbo. Drawing on backgrounds in design, fashion and time spent in Japan, the trio blend Scandinavian restraint with Japanese minimalism. The result is heritage-rooted design with a playful, contemporary edge.
