Wing Bowl

Wing plays with a sense of gravity and floating, its sculptural silhouette made up of two wing-like forms balanced on a single, cylindrical leg for a striking contrast between lightness and stability. Made from ceramic and hand-painted to create a textured, individual surface, it suits a sideboard, shelf or bedside table for holding keys or jewellery, or can be displayed alone as an art piece. It is not waterproof and is intended for indoor use. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl.

101 Copenhagen was founded in 2017 by Danish designers Kristian Sofus Hansen, Tommy Hyldahl and Nicolaj Nøddesbo. Drawing on backgrounds in design, fashion and time spent in Japan, the trio blend Scandinavian restraint with Japanese minimalism. The result is heritage-rooted design with a playful, contemporary edge.
